Data lake as network distributed file system

    Question

  • I'm interested in knowing if I can use the data lake solution as an option to mount a volume and distribute data between web servers through of this volume.

If this is posible, how ?

    Thanks.

  • It is not possible to presently use the data lake store to do this. The primary use cases for ADLS are as a store for analytics data.

  • If you want to access a small subset of the data, potentially prepared/transformed data, from a bunch of web servers, I would recommend copying it to an Azure Files share and then mounting that. You can orchestrate all this via Azure Data Factory.

  • hi
you can use blobs and map as local drive

You can run a CMD which will map a drive to azure blob

     net use z: \\<account name>.file.core.windows.net\<share name> /u:<account name> <account key>

Please mark this as answer if it helps
