Issue with extraction from a web performance test RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

    I am having issues extracting some data from a web performance test.  The test will log into my site and click a radio button, which display a few lines of data.  The issue is, I am not sure how to extract the data.  So the lines in the response look like this:

    <select name="content$unitMemberList" id="Ti2_P_content_content_unitMemberList" style="width:350px;">
    <option value="15238475657">100690 - JASON</option>
    <option value="15283147486">L76753 -  VICTORIA</option>
    <option value="14585785478">F55115 - ESTHER</option>

    So when I create the test, I use 1 login and password and the extracted value it grabs on a single run is the first value (15238475657).  When I pass 3 logins, it fails with a postback error pointing to this parameter.  I have tried extracting all data (from the "<select" to "</option>") but that didn't work.  I also, tried a regex match to the first value and it worked once but failed every other time.

    I guess i just need to know what the best way is to extract this kind of data.  Is it possible to create an array and use that as my parameter value?

  • I figured it out. I had more than one match from my response. I changed my regex to use a digit match instead of character.
