  • I want to create a new custom scaffolding item for ASP.NET CORE web application. I unable to create VSIX project for this so please someone help me how to create VSIX project for custom scaffolding item for ASP.NET Core web application.

    Welcome to the MSDN forum.

    Sure, you can create your custom scaffolding item for asp.net core web application. 

    You would better use visual studio 2017 and it does well with the latest Sidewaffle VSIX which is the tool needed to create the template.

    You can refer to this article which is also suitable for visual studio 2017.

    Its works only for ASP.NET MVC application not work for ASP.NET Core Application. How do I create for core application.
