API for Windows 8.1 Used With SentryBot

    General discussion

  • I recently read the article about Microsoft working with Lego Education and creating SentryBot at:

    http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/news/Features/2013/Jul13/07-17Lego.aspx

At the end of the article it says "The API for Microsoft’s SentryBot app will be made available to the developer community together with the official launch of Windows 8.1." I realize that we have not yet reached the official launch of Windows 8.1 (isn't it supposed to be October 15?), but I would like to know the following:

    1. Did SentryBot use any assemblies other than the ones that are installed with the Windows 8.1 update or any Visual Studio 2012 updates?

    2. Is there anywhere that I will be able to view and/or download the code used for SentryBot to help me get started with an example that is officially from Microsoft and for use with EV3 & .NET?

I plan on writing Windows Store apps for use with EV3, and would like some help getting started, and know about the most updated sites that can help me do this. Thanks.
