Azure | CDN's | Blob Storage | Subscriptions RRS feed

  • Question

  • Can anyone guide me on the right tracks for setting up a several CDN's for a single blob storage and does this process get more complicated or impossible if they're not part of the same subscription?

  • See the following documentation of creating a CDN endpoint that points to a blob storage account - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cdn/cdn-create-a-storage-account-with-cdn. Overall you will need to create or use an existing CDN profile. Then in that profile create an endpoint and for origin type select storage. Then select the storage account you want to use in your subscription. If you just want your endpoint to be used for a particular storage container use the optional storage path attribute to specify the storage container name. If the storage account is not part of your subscription select the "custom origin" option for origin type instead of "storage." And then in the the origin hostname specify the hostname for your storage account. To create multiple CDN endpoints for the same storage account just repeat the above steps.
