Converter VB 6 to VB.Net ? RRS feed

    They would know me know how to convert a project from VB6 to VB.NET using this method below ?

    Visual Studio >> File >>Open >>Convert..

    Had some plug in or even executable to tell me?

    Thanks for your feedback.

    There is no upgrade wizard under File --> Open --> Convert in VS 2010.... It is only for VS 2005 and VS 2008

    In VS 2010, just open the VB 6.0 project in VS 2010 and it will automatically detect it as a VB 6.0 legacy project and start the upgrade wizard.

    As an alternative, you can install the VS 2008 edition, upgrade your vb 6.0 code to vb.net and open that project in VS 2010 again and follow your conversion steps to upgrade to VS 2010... This is the best option available... in VS 2010....

    Visit for confirmation there is no upgrade wizard in VS 2010
