  • Yes, you can use locking hints while writing the sql query inside OLEDB Source or lookup component. Check this link for various hints and their descriptions: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa213026(SQL.80).aspx

  • while you are using the OLEDB destination, you can also lock the table by checkbox.

    whenever you are using the SQL commands(anywhere in package), you can provide locking hints(Nitesh already mention above).
