Using US census data (TIGER) to get list of freeways in a radius/nearby - possible? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello All,

Does anyone have experience using TIGERweb data (http://tigerweb.geo.census.gov/tigerwebmain/tigerweb_main.html) with Bing maps. I am working with a developer and we are using Bing Maps. I am interested in  finding nearby freeways from a point on a map, either using a radius/ or a lat/long point.

I was hoping TIGERweb would be that solution as they have freeway data.

Not necessarily show freeways, but give a list of freeways (as a pop up) from that point on the map

    for example:

    101 .3 miles away

    280 2 miles away

Just want to know if it is possible with TIGERweb and Bing Maps.

    thanks!
