Single Report and multiple Datasource in SSRS RRS feed

  • Hi,

          I have a SSRS report for a server. i have to use the same report for all servers. How can i achieve this by using multiple datasource?

  • Yes in that case your connection string will be dynamic .

    lets say your report will first run using ;

    Data Source=local;Initial Catalog=AdventureWorksDW2012
    and second time when you need to run this report on different server then for same report your connection string will be
    Data Source=local2;Initial Catalog=AdventureWorksDW2012

    In that case you can use expression-based connection string.

    you mean same report you've deployed in multiple report servers? Or is it in single server and you've to run it for different source data?
