Unable to register site begin with (http://) RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm trying to add a new Web application using https://apps.dev.microsoft.com/#/appList, the Callback URL, that I use begin with (http://), but there is a red message says:

Your URL must be in a valid URL format, begin with https://, and be limited to 255 characters in length.

    Thanks

  • Hi Ahmad,

You could begin with http:// or https://. Please double check your URL format.

    Best Regards,

    Chris

  • Hi,

Try same link with the Redirect URLs, first click add platform, then select Web.

Then a Web Panel will appear.

Now u can see the error.

    Thanks,

    Ahmad...

  • Hi Ahmad,

The Rule is that a valid URL format should begin with https://, http:// is not allowed.

You can request an exception from Microsoft Help and Support.

    Best Regards,

    Chris

  • Hi,

Were you able to register with just "http://". I am facing the same problem. All our test Environments have http protocol and i am not able to register without https.
