Is RGB - Depth calibration needed for v1.8 sdk? RRS feed

  • I was thinking on doing the calibration methods you can found on the internet, but then i saw somebody saying that this isnt needed for Windows SDK v1.8.

    I just want to confirm if thats true, thanks.

  • It is more of a needs question, if you can use the Kinect's CoordinateMapper results then no. If you can't then you will want to do your own calibration.
