Does NVMe driver supports PCIe multiple physical function device? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Community,

Does NVMe driver supports PCIe multiple physical function device? I also don't know whether there is multiple physical function device on the market or not, but I'd like to know is driver supports it.

    Thanks.

  • There's no reason why it shouldn't work.  The PCIe bus driver knows how to enumerate multi-function devices, and the NVMe driver just gets assigned the register spaces.  It doesn't care.
