Azure Storage client options when working with shared signatures instead of account keys.

  • We have been using the Microsoft Azure Storage Explorer tool. This utility requires an storage account and key to establish a connection, but we have scenarios where we use SAS (Shared Access Signature) to secure specific Blobs. User A may need access to one blob and User B access to another on the same storage account. We don't want to give them the master key.

Trough the .NET storage API we can create custom clients to connect, but what third-party tool options are there for storage access via SAS? Are there any plans to incorporate support for this in the Microsoft Azure Storage client in the future.
