XmlDocument.CreateElement(string name) (was Contracts for System.Xml) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is it planned for near future to add contracts for System.Xml.dll? It is one of the core dlls I think.
It would be nice at least to have Ensures(Result != null) for XmlDocument.CreateXXXX methods.

  • Hi Alexey,
thank you for the suggestion. We've added the contracts above (and many others...) to System.Xml.
They will be available in the next release.

    Thank you,
    f

  • Hi Francesco,

System.Xml.Contracts on the new build (1.1.20415) has the Ensures(Result != null) contracts for

    XmlDocument.CreateElement(string qualifiedName, string namespaceURI)
XmlDocument.CreateElement(string prefix, string localName, string namespaceURI)

    but not for

    XmlDocument.CreateElement(string name)

    :(
