  • Question

  • Dear all,

I need deploy an Access 2010 program (.accde) for users with PC already have Access 2007 runtime installed. They need run the Access 2007 program. How should I set their runtime environment? Install both Access 2007 Runtime and 2010 Runtime or only 2010 Runtime?

    Regards,

    Terence

  • The latter. A2007 databases will run just fine on the A2010 runtime.

  • Dear Tom,

    Thanks! I will try.

Err... after testing, we find our user's Access 2007 program behaviour differently in the Access 2010 Runtime. An optional date field always get default value at the time we click on the "export to excel" button. We can't correct the issue due to budget consideration. I will downgrade my Access version form 2010 to 2007.
