write to my facebook wall from a asp.net website. RRS feed

I have spent hours pouring over the facebook documentation trying to find a solution to this what i thought would be a trivial task.  I have an asp.net website.  When some actions occur, say a new user registers on my site I want to post a message to my own facebook wall.  I assumed there would be some webservice that I could call, pass my credentials and post a message.  I now believe i'm wrong.  All I can find is information on creating facebook applications, or the graph api which allows facebook users to allow me to post to their facebook pages.  None of which i want.  I've looked at the microsoft facebook developer toolkit and sdk but these also appear to be for creating and dealing with facebook applications.

If somebody could at least point me in the right direction I would be very grateful.  Is this even possible to do?
