How to handle UNIX timestamp inside Timeseries insights in AZURE RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have a device that can send data only with UNIX timestamp (no ISO date). Is it possible to handle UNIX timestamp as timestamp field in Timeseries insights. With ISO timestamp it's working fine, but with UNIX timestamp it seems not working. Is there a way to handle UNIX timestamps in timeseries Insights?

Unix format is not supported at ingress or query in Time Series Insights. We support only ISO format, You can find more details on this page. You can try the conversion at the source location before the message is sent to Hub, again it depends on how much customization can be done on the device.
