How do i prove that Des 3 times equal to TripleDes using console that actually getting the same cipher text. RRS feed

  • Have you even tried it?  If you can do one DES, then surely you can feed the output of that one into the encrypt function again.

However, what you're asking is a waste of effort.  If the provider is telling you they're doing triple DES, then they're doing triple DES.

  • Hi Shang13123123,

    Thank you for posting here.

DES represents the base class for the Data Encryption Standard (DES) algorithm from which all DES implementations must derive.

TripleDES represents the base class for Triple Data Encryption Standard algorithms from which all TripleDES implementations must derive.

TripleDES uses three successive iterations of the DES algorithm.
