Visual Studio 2013 Update 3 RRS feed

  • Hi All,

    I am using visual studio 2013 for testing that is coded ui automation. All the test was working fine, until I update the visual studio 2013 with the new update pack 3. Now I am frequently facing an issue that "Control is blocked by another control".. and non of my test are now running......

    Please help....

  • Hi Ranjit,

    So you mean that it worked well before you install the VS2013 update 3, am I right?

    If so, please restart your pc, and then re-open your test project, run it again.

    One suggestion is that you could record a new coded UI test for your project, and then generate it to code, please compare the new test with your previous test project, maybe you could find more useful information.

    In addition, the most important issue is that when an action fails with this blocked control exception, visually verify if there is another control indeed that is blocking this control in the screen area.
