Desktop tile has changed

Question

I'm not sure why, but my desktop tile "updated" itself, it's now showing the Windows 7 default wallpaper (i have not changed the wallpaper, on my desktop, it is still the Windows 8 one).

Moreover, i'm not sure why but it looks terrible.

Is it suposed to "update itself" like this ?

I get the same issue, and can temporarily resolve it by doing the following:

1. Right click on the desktop tile
2. Click "smaller" at the bottom
3. Right click on the desktop tile (again)
4. Click "larger" at the bottom

Thank you, it does "reset" the tile when i do that.
