MS Access right click to get the submenu Copy, Paste, etc RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,
Is it possible to hide the Navigation Pane and to use within the Access application, the right click to open the submenu with Copy, Paste, etc?

I experience that if the Navigation Pane is visible, the right click provides the submenu. However, in my application I want to hide the Navigation Pane.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hi Jacques

    1. From the open desktop database, click the File tab, and then click Options. Note, if you're using Access 2007, click the Microsoft Office Button and then click Access Options.

    2. Click the Current Database category, and under Navigation, clear the Display Navigation Pane check box.

    3. Click OK. Close and reopen the database to see the effects of the option

  • Hi again

You can prevent the user from opening the navigation pane by setting allowapecialkeys to False.

Otherwise thu user can open the navigation pane by pressing F11 on Keyboard.
