infopath form with nintex workflow RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have an infopath form with different views viz. request, thank you, approval, readonly.

I set a rule with condition sharepointtaskId isnot blank for approval view. As I am getting sharepointtaskId blank after submitting the form it is directly switching to readonly view. (sharepointtaskId cannot be blank under getrunningworkflowforcurrentUser Datasource).

Could anyone let me know why sharepointtaskId is coming as blank?

     Thanks,

  • Hi,

Do you want to achieve these things: When a user add a new request, a nintex workflow will start and the sharepointtaskid will not be blank. Then the form will switch to approval form.

If so, you need to take this into consideration: when a request is submitted, the workflow may not have started before it is switched to the read only view. So you can choose close the form after submit. Then add a form load rule to check whether the sharepointtaskid is blank and switch view.

If I have any misunderstanding ,please feel free to point it out. If you nintext workflow causes this problem, you can go to nintext Support for help: http://www.nintex.com/en-US/Support/Pages/default.aspx

  • I haven't worked on Nintex workflow yet. Have you tried contacting Nintex for their support? Do they have a forum for Nintex users?
