Silverlight in desktop applications? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi:

We have developed a IPTV framwork on .NET 2.0 using C#.  We are using the windows media player as the default player.  We have also integrated youtube search and autoplay feature in the application and have used a youtube player for this.  I would like to know if we can do away with both the above mentioned players and use only the Sliverlight player instead?  Yes, I understand we would need to migrate our application of .NET3.5 and we are already in the process (no big deal there).

Beta version can be downloaded from http://www.mavininfotech.com/mmt/MyMobileTube.TV.exe.

Can someone advise on this please?
