WPF capture event of the skeletal joints RRS feed

  • Question

  • When tracking the skeleton using the SkeletonFrameReadyEventArgs, is there a way to have a skeletal joint, say the LeftElbow, trigger a XAML element like a Rectangle (Not the Winform System.Drawing Rectangle)? Sort of the equivalent of a mouseEnter/mouseLeave.

  • Pengal,

this functionality is not part of SDK, but you could implement it yourself. Some members of the community are trying to do similar things, so you could browse forums looking for posts on gesture recognition and such, and you will find some examples that users have shared. Once you recognize whatever gesture you desire, you can make it trigger whatever event you need to be triggered.

    Hope this helps,
