What would be the best method to add the typical time attributes (ie month to date, quarter to date and year to date) to a time dimension that is custom (the fiscal year starts in nov and ends in october) also it is a 4,4,5 quarter, 4week 4week 5week.... but you also end up with a 53 week year (for example 2007 is 53 weeks) but 2008 is 52 weeks.
We have a similar time dimension, so possibly I could offer some help. I'm not totally sure of what you're asking though. The examples you give (eg month to date) sound more like calculations than attributes.
