    Hello !

My name's Cedric; I got interested in ASP.NET and just started learning it. I have a question: why can't we code in C++.NET as we do in either C# or VB ? I used to code in managed C++, that's why I'm asking that. Yet, I think it  would be easier for me to learn C# too! So, my question is more a curiousity question. Thanks for your comments and answers. Peace to and around you !

Good question, but I have no answer for you.  The only consolation, however, is that if you know C++, then you already know 90% of C#.  Once you learn C#, you'll never go back to C++ unless you are coding Windows application that needs raw speed.

Try the thread below for some answers remember to check the links because you can write Asp.net 1.1 in C++.  Hope this helps.
