Configure Remote Desktop - Connect to Azure Linux VM (RHEL 7.4) RRS feed

  • i tried new release of SQL 2017 with Linux (RHEL - 7.4) Azure VM.,

    Everything fine ( installed , sql enabled, can access sql from client (SSMS) ),

    but  while connect RDP for Linux VM  ( Azure)  , getting below error,   can any one explain step by step code  (bash) to configure Linux VM  RDP  (RHEL 7.4)


    Connecting to sesman IP 127.0.0.1 port 3350 sesman connect ok sending login info to session manager, please wait... login successful for display 10 VNC started connecting VNC connecting to 127.0.0.1 5910 VNC error-problem connecting

  • does not work, dropped & re-create xrdp .... 

    pls any one guide for configure RDP for Azure VM RHEL 7.4 VM     ( latest version )

  • while check VNC status

    it's working for Azure RHEL 7.4 VM for RDP,

    $sudo su -

    #yum groupinstall 'Server with GUI'

    #systemctl stop firewalld

    #systemctl disable firewalld

    #yum install https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/epel-release-latest-7.noarch.rpm

    #yum install xrdp tigervnc-server xterm

    #systemctl enable xrdp

    #systemctl enable xrdp-sesman
