[Solved]Field length can't show up the text completely

Hi All,

I created an invoice field data and i set 12 numbers for the maximum. But when preview the report, the last invoice numbers just show half digit only. Example:- INV-12345678 but the number "8" only show half. Checked below photo Invoice No. INPN16121448.

I tried to tick "grow up" but it goes to second line. Any idea if i wish to stay at the same line for my invoice numbers with showing completely. Thanks!

Hi,

Lenght in characters is not entirely accurate (with a non fixed font the letter I for example is not as wide as W). Just use 13 or 14 if you can't size automatically the column depending on its content (I used CR a long time ago).

Thanks for replied. That's mean there is no choice to expand the width for the field and have to limit the characters and numbers, am i right? Or else have to go second line.

Hi All,

Problem Solved. I deleted existing field and drag again into details section. But have to control the invoice numbers or else it will duplicate with amount.
