Manufacturing hardware designs RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Dear community,

Probably that it is a typical situation, I was designed and implemented a solution based on Windows 10 IoT Core with raspberry and set of sensors, a now it is the time to take this prototype and implement a industrial design to certificate (like CE) and give a manufacturing company to build it massively.... But many doubts I have. Before tell that I am not specialize in hardware design, really it is easy to build a solution based on Windows 10 IoT + raspberry PI 3 + set of sensors, but from this point to design a boards to integrated the set of cables, and past form a printed 3D to a manufacturing process is a black hole for me.

Any one is specialize in that step?

    Thanks so much

    Kind regards

  • There are different companies that offer different production services. Two that come time mind to help with the final board are EMAC INC. (http://www.emacinc.com/) and Avnet (www.avnet.com).  Building a chassis from 3D print - I am not sure.
