MSDN subscription downgrade RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

Currently i have a Ultimate Edition Subscription due for renewal. I was thinking of downgrading to the Proffesional Edition henceforth.

I am using VS 2010 Premium edition in my machine. But the new VS 2012 Professional has all the features that I used in VS 2012 Premium.

My Query is will the new subscription allow me to continue using the VS 2010 Premium editon for few more weeks till I decide to move to VS 2012 professional.

    Your advice is appreciated.

    Thanks and Regards

  • MSDN Subscriptions come with perpetual rights (although when you downgrade, you lose perpetual rights to the products that are only in the 'higher' Subscription level).  Until you downgrade, you'll be able to continue using VS2010 Premium even if your subscription lapses.

    Thanks,

    Mike
