  • Question

  • Hello

I am using outlook object model with Visual Basic 6 to get emails from an IMAP account
    (Microsoft Outllook 2010 pro)
It works perpectly but i am facing a little problem:

I am wondering how i can ignore emails that are marked as deleted
I saw somewhere that i have to use Named properties but i do not understand how i can use it
and i did not find any example on the Web

    Please can you help me

  • Outlook sets a special named property (ImapDeleted: id = 8570, guid = '{00062008-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}).

Have a look at a deleted message with OutlookSpy - select a deleted message, click IMessage button, find the property, look at the DASL edit box. You can use that DASL name to access the property using MailItem.PropertyAccessor.GetProperty.
