Delegation = Specific Feature or All of Users Permissions? RRS feed

  • Question

  • In regards to the delegation feature of MS Project 2013 Online (Project Permission Mode :)

When the 'delegation" feature is set to enable Working on Behalf of..., does the user who is selected to be the delegate inherit "all" the permissions of the user that they are working on behalf of, or just a specific features, e.g., just their Timesheet?

  • In addition to Paul's excellent answer, if you need for example to delegate timesheet, you can use the assignment owner which allow you restricting the delegation to the timesheet.

    Hope this helps,
