My S3 is acting like an S1?? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Something is wrong with our dev platform today, our S3 database is spiking to 100% DTU and taking forever for a simple login, even though almost nothing else is even running on the database.

    East Region.

    Anybody else?

    Thanks,

    Josh

... may have been the app, anyway an app restart and now it's acting normally again

  • Hello,

Azure Active Directory issues were reported today. Do your applications make use of ADD?

    Hope this helps.

  • No AD.

It was very strange, any command made the IO/DTU reading spike up to 100%.

Maybe an app memory leak and some fancy caching our C#/EF guys are doing explains it, the cache kept getting flushed and did extra IO and slowed progress to a crawl ... maybe.

It was just in dev, our prod stuff is always on P* levels.

    Thanks,

    Josh
