convert mobile app from 1.1 to 2.0 error RRS feed

    Hello,

    I'm new to mobile development.  I have a mobile app that works in 1.1 framework.  I converted to asp.net 2.0 framework and it converted with no errors.  When I tried running it and debugging, it would never fall into the postback so I added the method=post to the form and then that worked.  Now I'm getting Response is not available in this context when it's trying to redirect to another page.  Do I need to change something in web.config for 2.0?

    Thanks in advance.

    MobilePage mobPage = new MobilePage();

    mobPage.RedirectToMobilePage ("frmMainMenu.aspx",true);

    Have you tried just redirect to another page:

    RedirectToMobilePage ("frmMainMenu.aspx",true);

    if it will not work let us know converted code.

    Hi,

    How about mobPage.RedirectToMobilePage ("frmMainMenu.aspx",false); ?

    Thanks for your reply Zhao.  I tried that too but it didn't work.  I guess I'll try to convert again and see what happens.  I've googled but can't seem to find anything related to "Response is not available in this context"  error with mobile development.  Very puzzling.

    That did it, although I don't know why.  Thank you so much!
