  • Hello,

Nope. Disabling web add-ins for specific clients is not possible today. But you may disable or prevent your VSTO add-in from loading its UI if the web add-in is detected in the mailbox. Check hidden items in the mailbox. There you may find the ID which corresponds to your mail add-in if it is already installed. Basically, at startup you may check for the ID and hide the UI in your VSTO add-in. This shouldn't be the problem as this is your company product. You would need to enumerate messages in Associated contents table of the Inbox folder by using IMAPIFolder interface. And after find the message with the class “IPM.Configuration.ClientExtension.00000000000000000000000000000000”, where zeros must be ID of your Office JS Add-in. If the message has been found the Office.js add-on has been installed into the user's mailbox.

Read more about that in the How to share user roaming settings between Outlook COM/VSTO and Office JS Add-in article.
