    Hello,

I have tryed to upload many news articles and none of them have appeared on the site.  When I press Save Article the site takes me back to the news home page and nothing is there.  I thought that it might be the time (appear after this time), so I changed it around on different articles and nothing happened.  Can someone help? I have two club sites that this is happening on.

     Thanks in advance,

    DPR

Thank you for all of your help.  I think this is the problem.  What is the quick fix to allow more content?

    Thanks.

The limitation comes from the size of the field in the table.  Open up the Announcements table and look at the description field.  I think that it is defined as a varchar(500) in the original club site.

You can increase the varchar size as a quick fix.  I think that the maximum size for a varchar in SQL 2000 is 8000 characters.  If you want to go bigger than that, you need to change it to a different data type, such as text or ntext.

This occurs when the message is too long. Try a short message. If this is the case, I can give you a quick fix to allow more content.
