Setting up Help for VBA in Access 2016 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am doing my first 2016 project and hitting Help in VBA module design opens Edge and some not helpful Microsoft web page.

On my 2010 machine, help brings up the Access 2010 Developer Reference Help and How-to with a handy search box, ready to go.

I would like 2016 VBA help to do essentially the same thing.

Seems like I remember there is some way to set up help online/offline/etc ....

    Thanks.

  • Offline help is not available in Office 2016.

You might vote for bringing back Offline Help on the Access UserVoice site - if it gets enough votes, Microsoft might consider it.

  • Thanks Hans.

Disappointed to say the least; not very developer friendly to dummy it down.
