    HI, Im a bit new with this, i need to cerate an API to allow another search application to access my database record and pull the result to be displayed on another site. Can anyone pls assist me with the some code samples. Thanks

    Please google ADO.NET or Entity Framework, there are many simples. If your database is SQL Server, i recommend Entity Framework.
