SharePoint is not installed in VS 2017 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Greetings everyone !

I am trying to create a new empty SharePoint project in visual studio 2017. I have already installed Office/SharePoint i can see all the types of the solutions. But the problem i can't create any of the solutions using "Empty project". So when i try to create the project i get this error:
The required version of SharePoint Foundation or SharePoint Server is not installed on this system. The target version of the SharePoint project is 2013.

I want to add a button to server ribbon connected to my SharePoint Online list which version i should use ? and what i should install to make it work ?

    Thank you!
