Visual studio test professional

    Question

  • I have a visual studio professional 2015 with MSDN subscription. I want to use Microsoft test manager which needs visual studio test professional subscription. To use MTM should I get visual studio test professional subscription along with visual studio professional with MSDN subscription? Or is there a way to upgrade my visual studio professional subscription to VS test professional?

  • Hi VIjaypv15,

    Welcome to the MSDN forum!

Please refer to following link, Microsoft Test Manager installed with Visual Studio Enterprise or Visual Studio Test Professional. So you need to buy the VS Enterprise subscription or VS Test professional.

Visual Studio Professional with MSDN subscription and Visual Studio Test Professional with MSDN subscription are two different products, they can’t upgrade.

You can call 1-800-426-9400, Monday through Friday, 6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. (Pacific Time) to speak directly to a Microsoft licensing specialist, and you can get more detail information from there. You can also visit the following site for more information and support on licensing issues:
