How to issue a refund in the Office Store? RRS feed

  • A customer purchased my app and realized that it would not meet their needs.  I am happy to let them have a refund, but I am unsure on how to instruct the user to request one.  Where should I point them?

  • Hi Corey,

    For this case I would contact developer Support. You can access in the new dev.office.com. As an example, on http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-US/office/dn448457 there is a section near the bottom call "Quick Links for app development" under "Support" where you can click "Microsoft Support". Once you're in there you can select "App analytics and commerce"

    Your customer can request a refund to Microsoft directly from here.
    (Your customer needs to sign-in with purchased Microsoft account.)
