Installing different editions of the same version of Office on one PC RRS feed

  • My PC at work already has Office 2010 Standard installed and is licensed across my organisation. However I need to do some development on Microsoft Access which requires Office 2010 Pro Plus and would be licensed through MSDN (as I'm using it for development purposes only).   Would I be able to keep Office 2010 Standard and add on Access through Pro Plus or would the installer believe I'm trying to perform an edition upgrade and therefore license the whole lot (Word, Excel et al) under an MSDN key - even though I use those corporately.

    I know about Azure/VMs/partitions, etc. as a work around but just want to know if it natively supported.

  • Looks like it works anyway, just tried it and Word et al are showing both product activation for the standard and pro editions.
