Could we show detailed location info when user click the pushpin? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, I wonder if there is anyway for bing maps to display detailed location information (such as which street which building) of the pushPin indicated?

BTW: I know how to handle click event and will use popup to inform user.

    Thanks in advance.

  • you can get the pixel coordinates of where the user clicks and use the map to convert there to a Location object. You can then pass the coordinates of the Location object to the Bing Maps Reverse Geocoding service which will return the address information for where the use clicked. Note that in many places this is approximate as Roof top geocodes are not available outside of the US yet.
