Can we have an N-level Workflow in SharePoint? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Is there a possibility for having an N-level workflow in MOSS 2007?

If not, is there a maximum number of levels or any level limitations in MOSS 2007?

  • Hi Prasanjit,

Did the N-level mean infinite level steps in workflow?
What did you want to do with this N-level workflow?

Based on my research, there is no documentation describing about this topic. You can create many steps in workflow, with the workflow steps increasing, it should affect the performance.

There is an article about the Performance Characteristics of Windows Workflow Foundation, you can check it.
