set focus back to URL address bar in IE

<p>Hello, I have an aspx page. When I first open it and hit tab, my focus is land on the first link of the page.&nbsp; How can I set my cursor focus to the URL /browser address bar in IE when I first hit TAB? Either using jquery or vb.net or tabindex=0 or -1 only. thank you.&nbsp;</p>

Simple answer - you can't do this with jQuery/JavaScript or VB Net. The browser address bar is not accessible to code running in the browser or on the server. 

Perhaps if you explained why you want to do this, someone can suggest an alternative approach that might achieve your goals.
