How to display your location on a Bing Map Application RRS feed

  • Question

  • When  this application is used on a tablet, the right side tools with buttons, do they come along with  the app itself or I  need to create that  on my own?

    thanks

  • Ok, in that case you are working with someone's code sample that is built on top of the Bing Maps API's. In this case it looks like the screenshot is showing a bunch of tools on the side that don't exist in the code example.

  • Not sure what you are referring to. There are over 8 different Bing Maps API's so you will need to be more specific. Are you creating a Windows 8 application for tablets? The buttons you are referring to, are they in the Windows 8 app (i.e. charms), or are you talking about the functionalities on Bing.com/maps? In any case you, you would likely need to create the functionality of any application using the Bing Maps APIs.
