  • Hi ank hit,

If I understand correctly, you want to create a SQL Server(DatawareHouse) user interface with infopath. Please correct me if I have misunderstood.

Actually, Infopath is different with InfoPath Forms Services in SharePoint. However, your manager is right. With InfoPath form, we can create an user interface for inputing data into SQL Server.
In InfoPath form, we can create a connection to SQL Server, and can use this connection to submit data to SQL Server. The following article details the steps:
    http://www.databasejournal.com/features/mssql/article.php/3070881/Creating-a-SQL-Server-User-Interface-with-InfoPath.htm

Also, if you have SharePoint(Enterprise edition is required, and InfoPath Forms Services is enabled) in your environment, you can publish the InfoPath form to a SharePoint site. Then, you can open the form in the site with InfoPath client installed.

If there is anything unclear, please feel free to ask.
