How to make MainPage the launch page after pressing start-button RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am building an app with login thru webservices but worry that if I forgot to navigate to mainpage (login Page) , any user can go to menu page to access other features.

    If I start from MainPage -> Page2 -> Page3 ,  and press start-button at Page3 ( button with microsoft-logo)

    When I re-launch the app, it will start at Page3. I want to launch MainPage when this app is re-launch.

    How to handle this?

  • That doesn't sound like a relaunch, but a resume.  This is normal and expected.  If you want to ensure that your users always end up at page 1, handle the resuming event:

    NOTE: If I ask for code, please provide something that I can drop directly into a project and run (including XAML), or an actual application project. I'm trying to help a lot of people, so I don't have time to figure out weird snippets with undefined objects and unknown namespaces.
