Improvement to Run dialog and Start search

    General discussion

  • I KNOW Ctrl+Shift+Enter elevates any program typed into Start Search box but still.

A checkbox option AND Ctrl+Shift+Enter to elevate apps from Run dialog is needed. The Task Manager Run dialog already has this option even if Task Manager itself is not running elevated.

Run dialog supports executing apps defined in the AppPaths registry key at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths (read more about what App Paths is at http://blogs.msdn.com/b/oldnewthing/archive/2011/07/25/10189298.aspx) which Start Search box does NOT support.

    So,

    1.  Add options to Run dialog to elevate using checkbox and Ctrl+Shift+Enter.
    2.  Allow running apps defined in AppPaths from Start Search (Start Menu search box and Start Screen search).
