How can I get the URL of Metro Version IE in my application

  • In my application I want to get the URL of a web page from Metro Version IE. Does anyone have a method to do that? Help me please, thanks!

  • The only way to get that is through the "Share" charm.

    To do that, go to IE, browse to the required URL using IE and then bring up the Share charm. If your app implements the Share contract similar to the Sharing content target sample mentioned here: http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/windowsapps/Sharing-Content-Target-App-e2689782 then you can receive the URL that IE just browsed to.
